CPTV Kids Day with Arthur and Curious George
Saturday, August 1st from 11am-4pm - FREE
Come out and join Arthur and Curious George at CPTV Kids Day at the Sunflower Maze. Two of PBS' favorite characters will help open this year's Sunflower Maze and will visit with children of all ages at the Apple Barrel starting at 11am. Bring your camera for photos with these lovable and timeless characters.
RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon Rides
Sundays, August 9th & August 16th at 9am
Take an amazing ride in a tethered Hot Air Balloon as the world famous RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon visits Lyman Orchards to raise money for the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Rides are $5 per person and 100% is donated to CCMC. Rides are very limited based upon weather conditions and fuel. Rides are first-come, first served.

Join us as we celebrate our homegrown Peaches and Nectarines with a day of delicious family fun! We'll have lots of great activities for the whole family, Lyman's luscious and juicy peaches, and sweet treats from the Apple Barrel. Activities include Breakfast on the Deck, fruit picking in the orchard, live music on the deck, crafts with Middletown Macaroni Kid, story time with the Levi E Coe Library, complementary food tastings and demos, pie eating contests, pony rides, and more. SteveSongs brings his entertaining, interactive and educational musical journey back to the Apple Barrel on Sunday, Aug 16th. Bring a chair or blanket to the Apple Barrel tent and enjoy a great day with the family. Steve blends participatory songs, clever stories and great melodies that really gets the crowd jumping -- from exuberant children flocking towards the stage, to the moms bouncing babies with the beat, to the parents and grandparents singing and grooving along.
