Treat that special someone to a memorable Valentine's Day in one of Connecticut's most historic family homes!

On Sunday, Feb. 14, we are hosting a special Valentine's Day Brunch at the Lyman Homestead. Chefs Mike Welch and Marc Gadoury have created a special menu for the occasion which includes an Omelet Station, a Carving Station, and delicious desserts from the Apple Barrel bakery.

Four seatings available: 10am; 11:15am; 12:30pm; 1:45pm

• Fruit Salad
• Vegetable Scampi with Cavetelli Pasta; Sweet Potato Casserole
• Carving Station with: Cornish Game Hens stuffed with Wild Rice; New York Strip Sirloin; Roast Pork with Cranberry Chutney
• Special dessert selections and assorted beverages from the Apple Barrel.

Apple Pie Workshop (For Kids)

Easter Apple Hunt

Sat., March 27, 2010 (Raindate: Sat., April 3, 2010)

Dash for apples in the Easter Hay Maze; Visit with the Easter Bunny! Hop onboard for a Horse-Drawn Wagon Ride! Children ages 1-10 years may participate.

Save the date for Connecticut's Only Easter Apple Hunt! More than 15,000 apples are hidden in our Hay Maze, just waiting to be discovered! Children may keep all apples they find. (Some are designated for prizes!) Bags for collecting apples are provided.

All children must be pre-registered to participate in the event. Registration forms are available at the Apple Barrel market, or register online.
