What's in Season
The best and freshest fruits, vegetables, and plants are grown locally. In addition to the 225 acres actively farmed at Lyman Orchards, we work with local family-owned farms to bring you the best and freshest items throughout the season. The availability of local products will depend upon the weather and current growing conditions.
January/February

Apples (Crisp-Aire), Apple Cider, Connecticut Maple Syrup, Potted Spring Plants (tulips, hyacinth, daffodils), Easter Lilies, hanging houseplants.
April
Apples (Crisp-Aire), Apple Cider; Orchard Bloom occurs in mid-late month - a spectacular view, and the fragrance is incredible! Apple Blossoms traditionally peak during the first week in May, but a springtime drive through the orchard is breathtaking anytime from mid April through mid May.
May
Apples (Crisp-Aire), Apple Cider; Connecticut Honey; Connecticut-grown hot house tomatoes; rhubarb; vegetable plants: lettuce, broccoli, peas, cucumbers, onions, cabbage, greens, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant; Greens: collard, mustard, turnip, broccoli rabe; Annual Flowers: pansies, snapdragons, allysum, petunias, geraniums, impatiens, marigolds, zinnias, and summer annuals.
June
