Lyman Orchards Donates $34,807 to American Cancer Society

Middlefield, CT – Lyman Orchards, a popular family-owned New England destination for over 280 years, is pleased to share a recent $34,807 donation made to the American Cancer Society using a portion of the proceeds from their 2022 Corn Maze.

Each year, Lyman Orchards hosts a Corn Maze in the fall that brings New England families and friends to the orchard. Over the course of 23 years, Lyman Orchards has donated a total of $731,891 to the American Cancer Society.

Lyman Orchards Donates $17,402 to Connecticut Cancer Foundation

Middlefield, CT – Lyman Orchards, a popular family-owned New England destination for over 280 years, is thrilled to share a recent $17,402 donation made to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation using a portion of the proceeds from their 2022 Corn Maze.

The Corn Maze at Lyman Orchards is an annual tradition that gathers New England families to the orchard. For the 2022 Corn Maze, 50¢ of every ticket sold went to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation. In the past three years, Lyman Orchards has donated a total of $54,287 to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation.

“We appreciate the work that the Connecticut Cancer Foundation does in supporting cancer patients and their families ,” states Lyman Orchards Executive Vice President John Lyman. “We are thankful and privileged to be able to play a small part in helping them on their journey to help others.”

“We, at the Connecticut Cancer Foundation, are so grateful to partner with Lyman Orchards to financially assist cancer patients right in our own backyard with basic living needs to include rent, utilities, food, and more,” says Jane Ellis, Executive Director of the CCF. “The corn maze is a creative opportunity to connect with your customers in a meaningful way to do good in the community.
