Save the Date for Blueberry Festival with a new spin - Service, Safety & Salute!
We're teaming up with the Salvation Army to bring you the Lyman Orchards Blueberry Festival at the Apple Barrel Farm Market on Saturday, July 20th, 10am-4pm!
We partnering with the Middlefield Fire Department and honoring local heroes in service, while showcasing the importance of fire safety. Come out to visit with the volunteer Fire Department, while enjoying all the fun activities!

Activities:
8am - 4:30pm: Pick Your Own Blueberries, South Street
9am - 4pm: Apple Barrel Deli open
9am - 6pm: Apple Barrel Farm Market open
9am - 6pm: Lyman Orchards Creamery open with a special Blueberry Seasonal Ice Cream Sundae!
10am - 3:30pm: Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides ($6 per person; $4 ages 4-12; free ages 3 & under)
10am - 4pm: Gypsy Queen Balloons (donations accepted)
10am - 4pm: Visit the Middlefield CT State Trooper, Caleb Stevens, and check out his cruiser with some fun giveaways*
10am - 4pm: Circle K Petting Farm ($5 per person, Free ages 2 & under)
10am - 4pm: Trackless Train Roaming Railroad ($5 per person)
10am - 4pm: Middletown Fire Department - Interactive Smoke House Public Education Safety Trailer*
10am - 4pm: The Salvation Army Canteen Truck*
10am - 4pm: Yard Games*
11am - 12:45pm: The Salvation Army Brass Ensemble Band*
11am: American Flag Raising:American Legion
11am - 2pm: Touch a Truck with Middlefield Fire Department* (Timing subject to change)
11am - 3pm: Food Trucks
12:45pm: Kids & Adult Pie Eating Contest (first come, first serve!)*
1pm - 4pm: Live Music from The Spanners*
The Salvation Army Mascot, Shieldy, will be in attendance for photo ops!*
