Looking for the best strawberry picking Connecticut has to offer? Lyman Orchards is a top destination for Pick Your Own (PYO) strawberries. Strawberries are one of the first Pick Your Own fruits of the season, along with honeyberries starting in mid-June and lasting until early July.
Strawberries are a delicious source of potassium, Vitamin C, fiber and high levels of antioxidants. Strawberries are also sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free, and a low-calorie food - 55 calories per cup! We grow many different varieties of strawberries, selected for their flavor and ability to withstand Connecticut soil and weather conditions.
Strawberry picking is a great family-friendly activity, however the season doesn't last forever, so get out while the picking is good!

We’re picking Blueberries, Regular Peaches, Donut Peaches, and Squash Flowers from 8AM-4:30PM. The supplies are excellent. The Regular Peaches are yellow fleshed and clingstone, and the Donut Peaches are both yellow and white fleshed. There is a limited supply of Summer Squash as well. PYO Raspberries are not available today.
The Winnie the Pooh Sunflower Maze is open from 9AM-4:30PM. Admission Price for the Maze is $12 for ages 13 and older, $7 for ages 4-12, and free for ages 3 and under. $1 of every ticket sold is donated to Connecticut Children’s and their cancer and blood disorder treatment center.

If they bring their used Lyman 4-quart container they receive a credit of $.50 on their purchase, and if they bring back their used Lyman tray container they receive a credit of $.75 on their purchase. The containers must be Lyman containers for them to receive credit.
We are picking in two areas today—follow the signs to each of the PYO locations.
