The Children’s Entrepreneur Market is an award-winning program that teaches young people about the power of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership through experiential learning.
Your product can be anything (except food)! Handmade, store-bought, games and services, but most importantly, it should be something that people want to buy.
Join the Children’s Entrepreneur Market at Lyman Orchards during our Spring Apple Hunt! The Spring Apple Hunt is an apple-filled adventure where kids ages 1-10 dash across scattered hay bales on the Apple Barrel grounds with bucket in hand, gathering as many fresh, eco-certified apples as they can grab! While families enjoy the hunt, you'll have the opportunity to set up your booth and share your creations with shoppers young and old.
This vendor market is where kids run the show! Parents sit back and watch your children as they sell something they are passionate about and gain powerful learning experiences about entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership.
Children ages 5 to 17 are able to participate and run a booth without the help of their adults.
Parents can assist their child when needed, but children must be able to:
1. Complete any prep work
2. Take/fulfill orders, and answer questions
3. Take payment and make change
If your child cannot do these things with minimal help, either pare down the offering, or wait for a future date when they are able to do so.
Children with disabilities or special needs are welcome to participate with any necessary parental assistance!
Children may NOT sell goods on behalf of their parents. Children must have an active role in the acquisition and/or production of their product.
No fundraisers allowed, no MLM's allowed, no animals allowed.
No Refunds (or credits) will be given for any reason. No exceptions.
