It's Kids Eat Right month and the Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics are coming to Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market to promote healthful nutrition, lifestyle, and well-being for children.

There will be stations set up on the Apple Barrel Patio to allow children to learn about the importance of fruit, vegetables, and herbs.

Arrive any time between 11am-1pm on Wednesday, August 14th to teach your kids about eating right. This event is free and open to the public.

After you stop by, be sure to head up to Lyman Orchards Pick Your Own fields and pick fresh apples, squash, and more! Make it a day of fun and get lost in our Hartford Yard Goats Sunflower Maze!
