Visit Lyman Orchards for three fall favorite family activities, Petting Farm Animals, Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides and Trackless Train Rides! All activities are located at the Apple Barrel Farm Market, 32 Reeds Gap Road, Middlefield.

Petting Farm Animals: Meet and snap photos with a whole corral of friendly animals including pygmy goats, sheep, rabbits, alpacas, and a donkey. Admission is $5 per person (ages 2 & under are free) and includes hay for feeding. Open weekends & Columbus Day in September & October, 10 AM - 4 PM. Tickets are available for purchase at the Apple Barrel register if paying with card, or you can pay cash at the entrance of the petting farm.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides: Climb aboard a rustic farm wagon and enjoy the clippity-clop of horses' hooves as you roll past the historic Lyman Homestead and through the scenic hayride trail. Rides run on weekends & Columbus Day in September & October from 10 AM - 3:30 PM. Admission is $6 ages 13+, $4 ages 4-12 (ages 3 & under are free). Admission is cash only at the pickup spot of the wagon rides.

Trackless Train: All aboard! Take a relaxing ride around the pond and back aboard our trackless train. It’s a fun adventure for kids and families of all ages! Rides run on weekends & Columbus Day in September & October from 10 AM - 4 PM. Admission is $5 per person. Tickets are available for purchase at the entrance to the train ride.
