As Connecticut's premier Pick-Your-Own (PYO) Farm, Lyman Orchards takes pride in growing the finest quality fruits for your family. In fact, Lyman Orchards has been commercially growing fruit on the same land overlooking the Connecticut River for more than a century! It's on this land that we invite you to enjoy being a farmer for a morning or afternoon and pick nearly 100 varieties of fruits from mid-June until the end of October including Honeyberries, Strawberries, Raspberries. Blueberries, Jostaberries, Peaches, Nectarines, Apples and Pears. It's no wonder why we've been chosen as CT Magazine's Best Pick-Your-Own Farm in Connecticut and one of the Top 10 Apple Picking Spots in the U.S.!
Since 1741, our family has been stewards of the land. Nine generations later, we still are committed to preserving our farmland for the generations that follow. Our Eco-certified apples and peaches are born and raised right here on our farm. Whether you pick your own in the orchards or buy them in the Apple Barrel Farm Market, you're getting apples and peaches that are grown in ways that respect and preserve the ecology of our orchard.
