As Connecticut's premier Pick-Your-Own (PYO) Farm, Lyman Orchards takes pride in growing the finest quality fruits for your family. In fact, Lyman Orchards has been commercially growing fruit on the same land overlooking the Connecticut River for more than a century! It's on this land that we invite you to enjoy being a farmer for a morning or afternoon and pick nearly 100 varieties of fruits from mid-June until the end of October including Honeyberries, Strawberries, Raspberries. Blueberries, Jostaberries, Peaches, Nectarines, Apples and Pears. It's no wonder why we've been chosen as CT Magazine's Best Pick-Your-Own Farm in Connecticut and the 2025 best apple orchard in the nation by USA Today!
Since 1741, our family has been stewards of the land. Nine generations later, we still are committed to preserving our farmland for the generations that follow. Our Eco-certified apples and peaches are born and raised right here on our farm. Whether you pick your own in the orchards or buy them in the Apple Barrel Farm Market, you're getting apples and peaches that are grown in ways that respect and preserve the ecology of our orchard.

We’re picking Apples and Pumpkins from 9AM-4:30PM. The Apple and Pumpkin supplies are excellent. The Apple varieties are Macoun, Empire, Cortland, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Fuji, Liberty, Jonagold, Ida Red, Crispin, Rome, and Cameo. The Pumpkins are both carving and sugar, orange and white, and all shapes and sizes.
The Corn Maze is open this afternoon from 1-5:30 PM. The theme of this year’s Maze is 250 Years of the USA. Admission Price for the Maze is $12 for ages 13 and older, $7 for ages 4-12, and free for ages 3 and under. $1 of every ticket sold is donated to the American Cancer Society, and $.50 of every ticket sold is donated to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation.

We’re picking Apples, Pumpkins, and Raspberries from 9AM-4:30PM. The Apple and Pumpkin supplies are excellent, with the exception of Honeycrisp apples which are limited. The Raspberry picking is limited and while supplies last. The Apple varieties are Honeycrisp, Macoun, McIntosh, Gala, Cortland, Empire, Jonagold, Crispin, Jonamac, Spencer, Ida Red, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, and Rome. The Pumpkins are both carving and sugar, orange and white, and all shapes and sizes.
