If you're looking for a wholesome, fun, family-friendly getaway in Connecticut, a visit to Lyman Orchards PYO Blueberry field is the perfect destination! And because we grow so many different varieties of fruits, it's worth making the trip! The Blueberry season typically lasts about 6 weeks (early July-mid August), and traditionally overlaps the end of Raspberry season (late June-late July) and the beginning of Peach season (mid July - late September). The early berries are the largest, and later berries are medium-sized but packed with flavor.

The Apple varieties are Macoun, Empire, Cortland, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Fuji, Liberty, Jonagold, Ida Red, Crispin, Rome, and Cameo. The Pumpkins are both carving and sugar, orange and white, and all shapes and sizes.
The Corn Maze is open this afternoon from 1-5:30 PM. The theme of this year’s Maze is 250 Years of the USA. Admission Price for the Maze is $12 for ages 13 and older, $7 for ages 4-12, and free for ages 3 and under. $1 of every ticket sold is donated to the American Cancer Society, and $.50 of every ticket sold is donated to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation.

The Raspberry picking is limited and while supplies last.
