If you're looking for a wholesome, fun, family-friendly getaway in Connecticut, a visit to Lyman Orchards PYO Blueberry field is the perfect destination! And because we grow so many different varieties of fruits, it's worth making the trip! The Blueberry season typically lasts about 6 weeks (early July-mid August), and traditionally overlaps the end of Raspberry season (late June-late July) and the beginning of Peach season (mid July - late September). The early berries are the largest, and later berries are medium-sized but packed with flavor.

We’re picking Peaches, Nectarines, Apples, Pears, Asian Pears, Squash Flowers, Summer Squash, Cut Sunflowers, and limited Raspberries from 8AM-4:30PM. The supplies are excellent for all except the Raspberries—they are good to start. The Peaches and Nectarines are yellow and white fleshed and freestone. The Apple varieties are early Honeycrisp, Zestar, Blondee, Gala, McIntosh, Jonamac, Paula Red, and Gingergold. The Pear varieties are Red Bartlett and Shinseiki and Hosui Asian.
The Winnie the Pooh Sunflower Maze is open from 9AM-4:30PM. Admission Price for the Maze is $12 for ages 13 and older, $7 for ages 4-12, and free for ages 3 and under. $1 of every ticket sold is donated to Connecticut Children’s and their cancer and blood disorder treatment center. Today and Sunday are the two days for the Sunflower Maze so don’t delay.
